Sustaining Investment in Research and Development

Ireland’s research and innovation strategies need to be continuously assessed and fine-tuned. As an input to current deliberations on research and innovation policy, the Council highlights in this statement a number of areas that should receive the immediate attention of Government in order to maximise the impact of public investment in R&D.
