The Code addresses each aspect of the management and transfer of research and development results from universities, institutes of technology and public research institutions to the commercial market place.
This Code complements the National Code of Practice for Managing and Commercialising Intellectual Property from Public-Private Collaborative Research, published in 2005. Together, these Codes form an integral part of the commercialisation infrastructure in Ireland.
